one kind of postcards I collect is maps. I do not mind if they are more or less realistic. If are funny illustration, touristic, geographical or political… For me it is really interesting the way a place can be represented. The imagination in this field is enormous.
This one was sent from Germany and spent obviously only 1 day travelling. So I received it on 13th August.
It shows Cuxhaven, situated on the North of Germany, on the shore of the North Sea and at the mouth of the Elbe River. Wonderful, because I live really near to the Elbe River, but on the East of Germany and I visit it usually and ride aside the river.
